Edmund Clark and Crofton Black want to tell you a secret. Rather, they want you to know about a secret. In Negative Publicity: Artefacts of Extraordinary Rendition, they present a complex portrayal of the US Central Intelligence Agency’s covert detention practices in the War on Terror. A mix of the mysterious and the mundane, Negative Publicity explores the sites and structures (and occupants therein) often “hidden in plain site” and largely devoid of scrutiny and accountability.
